Businesses are required to complete a case reconciliation with the Alabama Child Support Payment Center before Zenefits can successfully remit child support garnishment payments. This reconciliation must be completed for every employee with child support garnishment payments to remit. To complete the reconciliation process, please follow the steps below:
- Email a list of your employees that will have child support garnishments in Alabama to Tenecha. Johnson @dhr.alabama. gov and include the following information:
Obligor/ Employee First Name
Obligor/ Employee Last Name
Obligor/ Employee SSN#
Obligor/ Employee Identifying Case Number/Court Docket Number
IMPORTANT: Due to the sensitive nature of garnishment information, we highly recommend encrypting/password protecting your email to the state agency. - The state representative will review the information provided and adjust any case numbers if necessary, to ensure timely/accurate child support payments. Upon completion of their review, you will receive a reply with the adjusted information included.
