Employee listening and people analytics provider Perceptyx launched Cultivate Intelligent Coaching, an AI-powered leadership development tool that analyzes behavioral data to deliver real-time and personalized coaching to managers. The tool combs through feedback from 360-degree surveys and passive listening signals from workplace communications to assess a manager’s blind spots and identify the need for coaching. “Managers today must meet the needs of dispersed, burned out, always-on teams who are setting new boundaries. With these new ways of working, managers need new ways of learning and growing into leaders,” said Joseph Freed, head of product for Perceptyx’s talent development products, in a news release.
Talent acquisition outsourcing provider AMS unveiled AMS Verified, a new tool that analyzes talent technology solutions. AMS evaluated more than 1,000 talent technology organizations to create a rating system that aims to help employers identify the right combination of tech for their recruiting needs. “By expediting the TA tech review process with pre-vetted solutions, leaders can get much-needed technology in place more efficiently and effectively to meet their business objectives,” Jonathan Kestenbaum, managing director of technology strategy and partners for AMS, said in a press statement.
Talent acquisition technology provider TaTiO completed a $5.3 million seed round. The company was founded by Maya Huber, Ph.D., and Mor Panfil, who share four decades of HR expertise and career development experience. The TaTiO solution reduces time-to-hire by 50% and cost-of-hire by 30%, according to company claims. “On average, an employer will receive 250 applications for each job position, while the average time spent looking at a resume is a mere 5-7 seconds,” Hubert, CEO of TaTiO, said in a news release. “There is an ever-growing need for companies to find vetted, qualified employees.”
HCM platform provider Factorial raised $120 million to reach a $1 billion valuation. The vendor, which focuses on small to medium-sized businesses, has grown its customer base from 70 to 7,000 since 2019 while its annual revenue has seen over 200% growth serving clients in nine global markets. “HR has gone through a seismic shift across every industry, from a focus on workforce control to the primary function of empowering and challenging your employees. Monica Pool Knox is the new chief people officer of Domo, a low-code data app platform company. Pool Knox has served in senior HR roles at Microsoft, Twitter, Sony, PepsiCo, The Walt Disney Company and Verizon Wireless, Puerto Rico. At Microsoft, she developed people programs and practices as well as created and implemented AI-enabled HR technology solutions for internal and external use. “Monica’s blend of large and start-up company experiences, functional excellence and human-centric leadership is exactly what we were searching for in this executive position,” CEO John Mellor said in a news release.
Real estate tech provider MRI Software appointed Susan Avelluto to the role of chief people officer. The technology firm is headquartered outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and has nearly 2,200 employees in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa. Avelluto previously worked as senior director of HR for PayPal and held chief talent officer roles for U.S. Bank and Huntington Bank.
On-demand staffing platform provider Workmate will purchase Persol Asia Pacific, a leading HR service provider in the Asia Pacific region. Workmate hopes that the deal will accelerate the use of its on-demand manpower solutions in the APAC region. Workmate has helped more than 120,000 frontline workers find work and 800 companies solve their challenges in hiring blue-collar workers. “Combining Workmate’s technology with Persol’s expertise and regional infrastructure puts us in an elevated position to realize that vision,” said Workmate Founder and CEO Mathew Ward in a news release.
